CNA Certification: What Is It and How Can I Achieve it?
Canadian Nurses' Association (CNA) certification is a nationally recognize specialty program for nurses that consists of 22 nursing practice specialties.
CNA Certification provides nurses with an opportunity to learn about and focus their practice in an area of interest. From pediatrics to psychiatric to wound care, certification in most specialties is attainable.
As new graduates, we can begin to think about our professional development and future nursing goals. What does it take to reach our goals, and how can show employers and patients our commitment?
In this CONNECT, Marie Marques (RN, BA, MPA) from CNA shares with us the process of CNA certification, including how many hours are required, what the examination process is, and how we can aim our own nursing practice towards certification.
As always, registration for this event is FREE and open to newly graduated nurses and nursing students.
